Grab Bars

Grab bars are usually the first thing we think about when considering in-home safety. They are usually installed in showers to prevent falls on a slippery surface, but they are so much more than that. They should be installed by the entrance to your shower for accessible entrance and exit, but they should also be installed in the shower so you have something to grab if you lose your balance.

Please be advised that the placement of the grab bars requires a technician with a background in physiology, not a handyman. Each of us is different, so a grab bar installed for one person won’t provide the level of safety another individual needs.
